The blue car that caused a three-vehicle crash yesterday in Cambridge was found in Chelsea. The operator, a 29 year-old-male from Lynn was criminally summoned for the following charges:
1.Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended or Revoked License;
2.Leaving the Scene of Personal Injury;
3. Unsafe Operation of a Motor Vehicle
At approximately 9:40 a.m. today (Monday, July 24), the blue car seen in these photos caused a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Land Boulevard and Cambridgeside Place in Cambridge. The blue car rear-ended another car that was stopped at the traffic light, and pushed that car into a third vehicle.
After the crash, the male driver of the blue car got out and spoke with the driver of the vehicle he had rear-ended and suggested they pull over to the side of the road. The driver then got back into his car. The other two cars then pulled over, but the blue car then drove right past them and continued eastbound onto Land Boulevard toward the Gilmore Bridge.
The driver of the car that was rear-ended by the blue car was transported to Cambridge Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the third car was also transported to Cambridge Hospital for precautionary reasons.
