Starting immediately, the City of New Bedford will begin collecting downtown trash earlier on the second Thursday of every month preceding AHA! activities. Please put out your trash for pick up by 2PM on AHA! days only.

Please continue to observe the City requirements for containing and setting out your trash. Be sure to use barrels and not set out trash earlier than allowed. Enforcement officers do canvas downtown and will cite property owners for trash and nuisance violations. Help us keep our downtown litter free!
