“The Fort Taber-Fort Rodman Military Museum is looking for some help.

I was asked to the Closed Andrews-Dahill VFW post on Park St. I was asked to look at some of the items that had been found while they were tearing out of the interior of the building, to see if the museum would be interested in displaying them.

I did come across some things like pictures of Pvt. Andrews and Pvt Dahill who had been killed in World War 1. I did come across some things that I am hoping to return to the owners or family of the persons. One was the Family photo album of Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Petty Officer Armand Leo Pelletier who served in World War 2.

I have taken pictures and a picture of him, and they will be placed in our World War 2 area to render honor to his service to this country. The second was a Flag in a case presented to the post by Sgt Garry Beniquez. I am sorry to say that the coins on the display case had been removed from the frame before I picked it up.

If anyone knows the family of Petty Officer Armand Leo Pelletier, or knows Sgt Garry Beniquez, please have them contact me on our Facebook page or email info@forttaber.org.

Thank you,
Bill Niedzwiedz
President
The Fort Taber-Fort Rodman Military Museum.”
