31-year old New Bedford woman charged with 4th DUI

According to the New Bedford Police, 31-year old Stacy Lee Farland of New Bedford is being charged with her fourth DUI since 2007. She was arrested on October 10th, 2016, after she allegedly fled from her car that was involved in a 2-car accident at North and Hunter streets in New Bedford.

Prior to that she was involved in a hit and run on Richmond Street. She was previously charged with OUI charges in 2007, 2011 and 2013.

Stacy Lee Farland was charged with:

• 3 counts of leaving the scene after causing personal injury
• 1 count of leaving the scene after causing property damage
• 1 count of negligent operation of a m/v, 1 count of operating with a revoked license
• 1 count of possession of an open container
• 1 count of OUI liquor 4th offense.
