New Bedford Public Schools spotlights specialist, substitute for exemplar teaching

“NBPS SPOTLIGHTS for December are Lisa Carney and Kaitlyn Arruda!

Ms. Carney is a Teaching and Learning Specialist at Thomas R. Rodman School. Rodman Principal Amy Huston notes, “Ms. Carney is a person who is able to meet every staff and students’ needs before they realize it themselves and she is ready with an immediate intervention and solid plan.”

Kaitlyn Arruda is a Building Based Substitute at Betsey B. Winslow School. Winslow Principal Carolyn Pontes writes, “Ms. Arruda has a genuine nature to help others and knows exactly what every student needs to be encouraged for success and realize their own ability.”
