This restaurant also has a variety of wine options to assure you can find a great pairing with whatever you order, and the bar is a focal point of the design.
The Airport Grille specializes in American and European fare and prides itself on having the best in fresh and local food. As with Cork, there are both exquisite fine dining specialties and regular everyday fare to be found on the menu. For example, there are salads, a burger option, several mouth-watering steaks and even a delicious take on the classic comfort food, Mac & Cheese. For the gourmet adventurer, they have some very intriguing dishes such as duck carbonara.
So glad you included tne Airport Grille in this list – it is our favorite restaurant.
Cork is too trendy for me –
Candleworks and Back Eddy – kind of Old School.
We went to the Waterfront Grille for Valentines Day a couple of years ago. We had made a reservation, but were seated on the back porch – which they had enclosed in a canvas and put electric heaters in – WE FROZE! – February in New Bedford is no time to be on a back porch right next to the water.
The Airport Grille is wonderful – the food, the atmosphere, the ice bar, the firepplace and the music – I think it’s the best in town. My boyfriend loves their steaks with their
homemade sauces – I am a huge fan of their roasted sole with risotto. Also, this is the only place we ever get dessert – theirs are homemade and so rich and delicious!
I think you need to check out Cafe Belina also. Been there for Valentine’s Day, New Years, anniversaries, etc. This is a really nice place also with great food!!
