New Bedford Police hand out toys to children, celebrate holidays with Central American Community

“We had an amazing event this year with some wonderful families at “Our Lady of Guadalupe Church” on County St. in the city’s south end.

We were able to connect with a great number of people from our valued Central American community, hand out toys to some extremely excited and appreciative children, and eat some comfort food together.

Thank you so much to everyone who made this event possible. Thank you to our volunteers from the Voc-Tech legal and protective services program, and St. Gabriel’s Church. Thank you to all the NBPD police officers and civilian staff, MPTC Plymouth Police Academy recruits, and amazing cadets.
