New Bedford police seize Fentanyl, two guns and $1,080 on Clark Street

The New Bedford Police gang unit took two loaded firearms off the streets and seized 16 grams of Fentanyl and $1,080 in cash after a search warrant was executed at 8:42 p.m. on Thursday at 98 Clark St., Apt. 3.

Santos I. Gonzalez, 28, of 98 Clark St., Apt. 3, New Bedford, was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm without a license, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of Fentanyl with intent to distribute and improper storage of a firearm.

Police seized a .45 caliber Taurus PT145, a 380 caliber Glock 42, 49 rounds of 380 caliber ammunition, 25 bags of Fentanyl a digital scale, cutting agents and other items consistent with street-level narcotics sales.
