At approximately 3:45am this morning the New Bedford Police Department responded to reports of gunshots off of Acushnet Avenue.
Upon arrival, police encountered an unknown male with a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to St. Luke’s hospital for non-life threatening wounds. A second male with a gunshot wound was brought to St. Luke’s Hospital by a friend.
