From the New Bedford Police Department:

“Thanks to everyone who dropped off unused prescription medications Saturday, April 29 at the Rockdale Avenue station. Thanks to your support, NBPD collected 433 pounds – yes nearly a quarter of a TON of medications, the most among South Coast police departments. Thanks to everyone for dropping them off and ensuring they don’t get in the wrong hands. And great job detectives Kelly Almeida and Bryan Oliveira for their hard work in organizing this successful day.”
