Last night at approximately 9pm members of the Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau executed a search warrant at 1476 Old Plainville Road in New Bedford. This was the result of an investigation by New Bedford Police Officer Det. Jonathan Lagoa into a heroin dealing operation out of the home.
As a result of the search, 66 grams of heroin, $440 in cash, digital scales and packaging materials were seized. The heroin has a street value of approximately $6,600.
Scheduled to be arraigned this morning in New Bedford district court on drug trafficking charges;
- Angel Manuel Galarza age 56 of New Bedford.
- Jane Almeida age 59 of New Bedford.
