New Bedford police arrest two on cocaine, ammunition charges

New Bedford Police narcotics unit arrested two people Tuesday, June 5, in connection with an investigation into a cocaine delivery service being operated out of 11 Merrill St. Apt. 2.

Police executed a search warrant of the property and found about 10 grams of cocaine, 32 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition and nearly $6,000 in cash.

Police arrested Mykayla Quinones,  20, of 11 Merrill St. Apt. 1, New Bedford,  and Daniel B. Baez, 23, of 11 Merrill St. Apt. 2, New Bedford, on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug laws and unlawful possession of ammunition.

The arrests were made at about 2:20 p.m.
