New Bedford police arrest six in west and north end drug sweep

Members of the New Bedford Police’s Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau (OCIB) conducted a sweep in the city’s west and north end focusing on street level drug activity. As result 6 people were arrested on Monday, December 19th, 2016. All are scheduled to be arraigned at 3rd District Court today.

Arrested were and their charges:

Nathan Stork 26 of 73 Foster Street, New Bedford. 
Distribution of class A heroin
Conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws

Arielle Magid 28 of New Bedford. 
Possession of class A heroin
Conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws

Henry Mahaoney 42 of 20 Reuben Street Fall River.
Distribution class B cocaine
Possession with intent to distribute class B cocaine
Conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws

Jameson Linhares 33 of Dartmouth.
Possession of class B cocaine
Conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws

Amanda Benevides 29 of 175 Shaw Street New Bedford. 
Distribution of class B suboxone
Distribution of class E Adderall
Conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws

Steven Medeiros 38 of Fall River
Possession of class B suboxone
Possession of class E Adderall
Conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws

A total of $645.00 in U.S. currency was also seized.

  1. Congrats to the the nb police for taking a few more drug users off the street. Those drugs are definitely going to stop coming into these streets.
