From our Facebook page: “That 52 year old man that was killed was the brother of 7 siblings. A father to 2 daughters and the grandfather of a beautiful little boy. He was a great uncle and great friend with a huge heart. My family is forever broken because of this mans stupidity. We thank all of you for your kind words.” – Amber Lynne Ouimet

  1. John was a great friend I will miss him much you don’t come by people like John

  2. The driver is out on bond? When will the people of this country wake up and realize that drunk and distracted driving is nothing less than domestic terrorism? We never know when one of these people will drive into us or someone we love killing them.

My heart breaks for this family….unfortunately there are too many of us who have walked in the shoes they are now being forced to wear.

  3. John was a childhood friend of mine what a tragic waist this should have never happened, you can blame politicians and lawmakers for this,, how many bars and liquor stores do we need not to mention there is no real punishment, already out on bail while John is gone….very sad

  4. I will miss my uncle for he rest of my life and I can only hope the guy who caused all of this suffering for my family is rightfully punished.
