New Bedford man arrested for house break-ins in Dartmouth

On Tuesday, August 15, 2017, Dartmouth Police detectives, along with members of the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS), arrested Lino Simoes, 43, of Bourne Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts on an outstanding warrant.

The warrant was issued based on his involvement in a residential house break that occurred in Dartmouth on Monday, August 7, 2017.

The incident was investigated by Officer David OIKARINEN and Detective Kyle COSTA.

According to acting Dartmouth Chief of Police Brian LEVESQUE, “This arrest was a direct result of the public’s willingness to step forward and assist the police department in making certain that the security of their neighborhoods remain intact.”
