2012 was an interesting year in New Bedford and Massachusetts. It was a presidential election year with three Massachusetts ballot questions and we got hit by Hurricane Sandy. New Bedford was rattled by a New Bedford police officer being stabbed and teen shot to death by police. We also got hit with some major construction on the New Bedford/Fairhaven bridge, Route 18 and Coggeshall Street.
