The New Bedford Symphony Orchestra concludes its spellbinding 2014-2015 season with “Enchanted Places” on Saturday, May 9. This unforgettable concert-journey features four blockbusters in one night! Edward Elgar’s poignant and noble Cello Concerto in E Minor features internationally acclaimed cellist Jesus Castro-Balbi. Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture, Borodin’s In the Steppes of Central Asia, and Resphigi’s The Pines of Rome complete the program.
The season finale concert will take place on May 9 at 7:30pm at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center in downtown New Bedford. Tickets are $25‒$60, with $10 student tickets (not available online).
