The NBSO is proud to partner with the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center to present a special, free event: ROBERTO PLANO IN CONCERT, Tuesday, October 18, 8:00pm, at The Z. Internationally acclaimed piano virtuoso Roberto Plano will perform classics of the solo piano repertoire by Liszt, Villa Lobos, Ginastera, and Gershwin, including the incomparable American masterpiece, Rhapsody in Blue.
Plano will also appear as the NBSO’s featured guest artist in the Symphony’s May 26 season finale concert, Pardon My French, performing two works by Ravel, Piano Concerto in G and Piano Concert for the Left Hand.
General admission for the October 18 concert is free but tickets are required. Tickets are available by emailing RSVP@nbsymphony.org or in person at the Zeiterion box office: 684 Purchase St., New Bedford, Mon-Tues-Wed-Fri 10:00am-5:00pm, Thursday 10:00am-7:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-3:00pm. Limit of four tickets per order.
Donations to support the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra and Zeiterion Performing Arts Center educational programs will be accepted at the door.
