This is an excellent opportunity for students and their families to meet with admission representatives from a wide range of colleges and to discuss course offerings, admissions, and financial aid requirements. More than 60 college and university representatives, as well as representatives from career and technical institutions and the armed services, will be in attendance.
“We want our New Bedford High School students prepared in every way to go on to college, and this fair at NBHS is the perfect opportunity for them to learn more about navigating the admissions and financial aid requirements, as well as see the wide array of options when it comes to choosing the right school,” said Superintendent Pia Durkin.
“Even though it is a crucial time for seniors and juniors to speak to college reps, we also encourage freshmen and sophomores to attend. It is never too early for students to start thinking and talking about college,” said NBHS College and Career Readiness Family Engagement Center coordinator Lynne LaBerge.
