Mattapoisett Fire Rescue spends evening working on surface water rescue at town wharf

“On Thursday night Engine 2 and Rescue 1 trained on surface water rescue at the town wharf.

Crews deployed the RDC (Rapid Deploy Craft) which is housed on R-1 and performed various rescues of members in the water in around the wharf.

Crews also worked on utilizing rope throw bags and life rings to reach victims in the water.”-Mattapoisett Fire Rescue.
