The Massachusetts State Police are seeking a driver who struck a cruiser in Milton Saturday evening and then fled from the scene.

The Trooper was not injured when his cruiser was struck at approximately 6:20 pm while in the breakdown lane of Route 93 southbound prior to Exit 3. The cruiser sustained minor damage. The suspect kept driving southbound on the highway after the impact.

At the time of the crash the cruiser was stationary and the Trooper, a member of the Troop H Community Action Team, was processing a motor vehicle stop.

The suspect vehicle is a black four-door sedan, possibly a Honda or Toyota. The license plate possibly has a “Y” as one of the middle digits.

Anyone who believes they may have seen this vehicle or the crash, or who has information about the vehicle or its driver is urged to call the State Police Barracks in Milton at 617-698-5840.
