Massachusetts State Police K9 Unit had 73 missions in one week

“From May 25-31, our K9 Unit had 73 missions, including four drug sniffs, three searches for bodies, two gun searches, five searches for suicidal persons, a school search, and numerous patrols.

Nine calls involved suspects with weapons (eight guns and a knife). Our Trooper handlers and their canine partners are a vital part of our public safety mission, and the dogs are a beloved part of our MSP family.
