Members of the Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit last week stopped a black Audi in Chelsea for motor vehicle violations. The operator, a 17-year-old male, was observed trying to hide an object in his jacket pocket. After being ordered out of the vehicle, troopers found a loaded .380 automatic Lorcin pistol on the operator. The operator was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm and the vehicle was inventoried prior to being towed.

During the inventory, three more firearms were recovered: a .357 Sig Glock, a 9mm Luger Taurus and a .45 Ruger revolver. Also found were several magazines and ammunition. The operator was transported to the Canterbury Detention Center for Juveniles in Roslindale.
