Man stabbed in New Bedford on Tuesday, Lucky Seven robbed with a knife on Wednesday

On Tuesday, August 18th at approximately 10:40 pm, New Bedford police officers were dispatched to St. Luke’s Hospital where a male was being treated for stab wounds that were considered non-life-threatening. The stabbing was reported to have occurred in the 300-block of Smith Street in New Bedford. This incident is being further investigated by police.

On Wednesday, August 19th at approximately 9 am, the Lucky Seven Mini Mart store on 701 Cottage Street in New Bedford was robbed at knifepoint. No one was injured and police are investigating.
