Learn how to quahog during a free, family-friendly event on Saturday, June 8 in Fairhaven

Learn how to harvest your own quahogs with the Buzzards Bay Coalition during a free event on Saturday, June 8 at noon in Fairhaven. Representatives from the town of Fairhaven and the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries will teach participants the basics of local quahogging — what you need, how to do it, and where to go. This will be a fun and educational event for the whole family.

The event will take place at Round Cove on West Island in Fairhaven. Participants can park on the street at the north end of Dogwood Street.
