PAY: $16.04 – $21.84
Effectively coordinates and promotes all aspects of program activities at assigned site, according to the objectives, policies, procedures and standards of the Center programs. Oversees staff, volunteers, and instructors assigned on site. Develops, organizes, promotes, implements and directs whole-person wellness and activity programs, including activities to enhance the physical, social, recreational and intellectual needs of Senior Citizens.
Administers program evaluation tools to assess patron satisfaction with Center programs. Documents and maintains all reports of daily, weekly and monthly attendance, as may be required by the City and any relevant funding sources, to include, but not limited to: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the MA Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA). Maintains program/financial records, supplies and materials for the Center.
Possession of a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and good driving record. Operates a motor vehicle on a regular basis. Knowledge and experience working with older adults preferred. CPR and First Aid Certification required. Must have a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check, mandatory by MGL Chapter 6 Sec. 172C.
