Freezin’ For A Reason: Massachusetts State Police Troopers, K-9s, take the Polar Plunge

“Massachusetts State Police C Troop Community Liaison Farrah Gray, MSP Cadets, and numerous fellow law enforcement officers gathered at Polar Park in Worcester to take the “Polar Plunge” for Massachusetts Special Olympics.

Troopers and Cadets braved a dive into frigidly cold water for a great cause. This year the team gathered donations and raised money for the Special Olympics. Trooper Gray worked with fellow law enforcement officers to organize the event which was a resounding success.

Even K9 Luna was eager to get in the water, and took the plunge with the help of her handler Trooper Chad Tata of the MSP Employee Assistance Unit.”-Massachusetts State Police.
