Freetown man arrested in New Bedford with hand gun

Detectives assigned to the New Bedford Police Department’s Narcotics unit arrested a Freetown man with a hand gun in New Bedford.

36-year old Richard Joseph Fumo Freetown was arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with unlawful carrying of a firearm. Detectives located Fumo in the area of County and Kempton Streets following an investigation. Detectives located a .32 cal Iver Johnson Revolver.
