Four cars set on fire, three within one hour in New Bedford

New Bedford police and fire officials are investigating four suspicious car fires over the past 48 hours, including three within an hour early Thursday.

Vehicles were located in flames at:

Tuesday, June 13, 3:08 a.m., 108 Clark St.

Thursday, June 15, 1:33 a.m., Sawyer and Myrtle streets

Thursday, June 15, 2:12 a.m., Cedar Grove and County streets

Thursday, June 15, 2:30 a.m., Adams and Myrtle streets.

New Bedford police and fire departments are investigating the fires. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 508-991-6350 or the anonymous tip line at 508-992-7463 or e-mail tip@newbedfordpd.com.
