Fort Taber-Fort Rodman Military Museum seeks public’s help in identifying men in photos

“I am looking for some help. I am the President of The Fort Taber-Fort Rodman Military Museum in New Bedford.

These pictures were dropped off at the museum, the person who brought them had no idea who they are. He found them on a house cleanout, I think in New Bedford and would not leave further information.

I hope someone can identify the two men in the pictures. The picture of the man in uniform was taken in Providence, RI. I have no idea what Naval Air Station the other pictures are from or what year. I am looking for info on the ribbons. After checking in our records, I cannot identify them – the colors may have been changed when the picture was colorized.

I am also trying to figure out the years of the COE Fire trucks. This could help me date the pictures. The NAS may be Quonset Point in RI. I would love to get these pictures back to the family.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.” -Bill Niedzwiedz.
