First day of school dates, updated hours, bus routes announced for New Bedford Public Schools

Can you believe summer is almost over? With August coming to an end, New Bedford Public Schools will be in session in just a few days! Here is the “first day of school” dates in New Bedford:

• District: Thursday, August 31st
• Parker: Tuesday, August 22nd
• Gomes: Wednesday, August 23rd
• Hay-Mac: Wednesday, August 23rd

Each year hours can differ so here is an updated list of hours for each school, don’t be late!

• Elementary: 8:15am – 2:30pm
• Gomes: 8:00am – 3:30pm
• Parker: 7:45am – 2:30pm
• Hay-Mac: 7:45am – 3:30pm
• Pulaski: 8:45am – 3:00pm
• Middle: 7:50am – 2:30pm
• NBHS: 7:28am – 2:40pm
• Whaling City: 7:30:am – 2:09pm
• Trinity: 7:30am – 2:09pm
