Dirt bike driver collides head-on with truck in Wareham

On Tuesday, July 21 at about 3:35 p.m., Wareham Police received reports of a motorcycle accident on Glen Charlie Road. Wareham Police Officer Michael Phinney arrived and observed an injured 27-year-old East Wareham man being treated by an off-duty firefighter paramedic.

Initial investigation reveals that the man had been operating a dirt-bike, colliding head-on with a vehicle traveling north on Glen Charlie Road. He was transported to the hospital by Wareham EMS, and the accident remains under investigation by Wareham Police Officers Hannah Salerno and Jennifer Braley.

It is likely charges will be forthcoming pending the outcome of the officers’ investigation.
