“Would you be willing to post this on your page for me? Thank you.

Hi everyone! I know I have been pretty absent from Facebook since this entire ordeal with my mom, Janet Roderiques. It has been very overwhelming. But all the love and support has not gone unnoticed.

I can not possibly reach out to every single person individually, because I would be here for months. I would like to thank everyone, family, friends, and complete strangers, who have shared the posts about my mom being missing, and all who helped in the searches.

Thank you to the Dartmouth Police Department, the New Bedford Police Department, and all who follow New Bedford Guide who were looking endlessly. Thank you to the person who found her and contacted the police.

Thank you to the complete stranger in Marshall’s who overheard a phone call and selflessly paid for my mom’s funeral clothes. My family, friends, and the entire community all came together in my darkest hour and showed me there are still great caring people in this world.

I appreciate all who have reached out to me and my family.

Thank you all,
Sonyia Rodeiques.”

Soniya has a GoFundMe Page for those that would help defer some of the funeral costs for her mother.
