“Hello! I’m not sure if this is something you would be willing to post but my mother is in need of a kidney.
She has been on dialysis for over 4 years. This will be her second transplant as she got her first at 22 years old and it lasted 43 years! She is A+, but blood type does not have to match with a live donor because Brigham and Woman’s has a live donor swap program.
My mom immigrated here from Portugal in 1969 at 16 years old. She sang in the choir at Mt. Carmel church in the 70s and loves this community.
