Dartmouth Police respond to vehicle crashing into house on State Road

“On Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at approximately 12:24 p.m., Dartmouth Police, along with other emergency personnel, responded to the area of #123 State Road for a two (2) vehicle crash.

It was also reported that as a result of the crash, a house had been damaged.

Upon arrival, officers determined that the crash involved a 2017 Ford Escape being operated by a 42-year-old Dartmouth woman, and a 2013 GMC van being operated by a 74-year-old Boston woman. It was also at this time that they confirmed that a house had also been damaged.

As a result of the damage sustained to the house, both the Dartmouth Building Inspector and the various utility companies were notified.

One (1) party was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and their current status is unknown.

The crash remains under investigation, and no charges have yet been filed. ”
