Dartmouth crash that injures two closes part of Faunce Corner Road

“On Monday, July 26, 2021 at approximately 7:15 p.m., Dartmouth Police, along with other emergency personnel, responded to the area of 850 Faunce Corner Road for a reported two (2) car crash with injuries.

Upon arrival, officers determined that a 2011 Toyota Corolla operated by a 18-year-old female from East Freetown, collided with a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by a 37-year-old male from Dartmouth.

As a result of the crash, the female was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries, and the male was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital with less serious injuries.

A part of Faunce Corner Road was shut down for a short period of time, while the investigation was conducted.
The crash is currently under investigation, and no charges have yet been filed.”
