Music from Land’s End Wareham returns this summer for its third consecutive season with a chamber music festival from July 20-27. Local audiences will be treated to programs of mostly classical music in intimate yet festive settings. The festival artists are renowned professionals and emerging young artists, who will work together to bring to life music by composers ranging from Bach to Shostakovich and beyond. The programs offer an unusual mix of genres and are specially designed by composer Sebastian Gottschick. MLE founder and Artistic Director, violinist Ariadne Daskalakis, is a part-time Wareham resident who also lives in Germany and concertizes internationally. She is joined by hand-picked colleagues and exceptional students, all committed to sharing their passion for chamber music with audiences of all ages.

Due to the enthusiastic response last summer, a concert will take place this year in Marion as well.

Music from Land’s End Wareham has proudly embarked on a partnership with the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra. The NBSO oversees the fiscal sponsorship of MLE Wareham – helping to bring more exciting music to the South Coast!

Event Schedule:

  • Sunday, July 20 at 5pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Wareham: Opening Concert “Mixed Doubles” – with music of Schumann, Schubert, Franck and Gottschick
