Global Learning Charter Public School defeated Whaling City Alternative School in their second Flag Football game yesterday. The final score was 56-24, and the series is now tied 1-1. Whaling City won the first game 42-36.

The third game of the series will be held next Tuesday at Riverside park from 3:20 to 4:20.

Both schools have fairly new athletic programs and are looking to continue to grow in the future. Any after school sports program is a huge benefit to the students as it keeps them active, out of trouble and teaches them lessons about responsibility and teamwork.
