The GNB Voc-Tech Lady Bears traveled to Curry College in Milton, Ma to take on the Cathedral Panthers in the MIAA South Division 4 Finals hoping to move on to the state Semi-Finals and play at the Garden.
The Lady Bears had a slow start in the first quarter but managed to get their offense going, and keeping the game close.
Trailing 5 starting the second, they came out cold, it wasn’t until the quarter was about half way over where their offense came to life. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to cut down the lead and fell further behind ending the half down 10.
Voc-Tech looked great starting the second half, chipping away at the lead, but fouls, turnovers and being outmatched by Cathedral’s rebounding their attempt at a comeback slipped further away from them.
The Lady Bears lost to the Panthers 62-50, eliminating them. They finished 2nd in South Division 4.
