Bristol County Sheriff’s Office offers driving safety course to inmates

“One of the biggest roadblocks to success upon leaving jail is the lack of a driver’s license. This week, inmates had the opportunity to take an 8-hour driving safety class over Zoom hosted by the National Safety Council.

This class can help remove “points” from one’s license and help an inmate get a suspended or revoked license back. It’s the same class folks on the outside must take through the RMV if they get too many citations or accidents. B

CSO Educator Bill Villineau facilitated the class this afternoon.”-Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.
