As a response to the violence and unease currently afflicting the country, Bristol Community College is hosting Community Day on Sunday, September 25, from Noon – 4 p.m. at the BCC Fall River Campus, 777 Elsbree St. Sponsored by BCC Campus Police, the public is invited to this free* event that aims to bring the entire community together to celebrate unity in a lively and entertaining environment.
The jam-packed afternoon features live entertainment including a DJ, bouncy houses, balloon animals and caricatures, Top Rope Promotions Wrestling, and safety demos from Somerset Fire and Police.
FUN 107 will be there from 2 – 4 p.m. with music, prizes, and Carrie Underwood tickets! Registration for the ticket raffle is required, and you must be present at 4 p.m. to win.
Bring your appetites! The GottaQ BBQ, Mad House Grill, and Macray’s Seafood food trucks will be available on site to keep you energized for the day. Please note:
BCC invited several organizations to come together to spread awareness of the resources available to the community. The BCC Multicultural Club, the BCC Domestic Violence Survivors Club, H.E.R.O Gay & Lesbian Education Club, Steppingstone Inc., Forever Paws, and others, will be available for questions.
