BCC will host the “BCC Celebrates the SouthCoast” event on Sunday June 5 from 12- 5 p.m. under the Commencement Tent on BCC Fall River campus, 777 Elsbree Street. The festive event featuring top, regional musicians, games, and food, is a community celebration for BCC’s 50th Anniversary year The event is free* and open to the public!
The fun, community event will include live entertainment, games and activities for all ages, free books, face painting, a balloon artist, food trucks with free food and snack vouchers for kids, sporting events sponsored by BCC Athletics, obstacle courses, cultural dance lessons.
The headline act for the event is the wonderfully talented Samantha Johnson, finalist in last year’s TV hit show “America’s Got Talent”. Entertainment will also include artists such as South Shore Rave, Preminishun, Cassidy McGrath Music, Urban Koncept Dance Crew, and much more! The DJ/MC for the event will be DJ Jules Flava of Jam’n 94.5. All artists and entertainment are based in the SouthCoast area and many have attended BCC as students. This great event is sponsored by BCC Multicultural Student Center.
