Ashley Ford Sales of New Bedford teamed up with Fairhaven High School to raise funds for the Class of 2016. A check in the amount of $3200 was presented to the class officers on May 24th. A total of 160 parents, students, staff and community members test drove a vehicle to support the school, through Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR School program, helping to raise funds for the school.

“It was a wonderful turnout, despite the weather,” stated Bob Bancroft, owner, Ashley Ford Sales. “Our dealership really enjoys sponsoring Drive 4 UR School programs for area high schools and we were excited to bring this unique fundraiser to Fairhaven High School.”

“The Class of 2016 would like to thank Ashley Ford for hosting the Drive 4 UR School event in support of the Senior Class,” said Christine Neville, class co-advisor.

“The senior class will be using the funds to give back to the school in the form of a class gift. The funds will also be used to sponsor scholarships for deserving seniors,” added Jamie Lynch, co-class advisor, “and Ashley Ford was instrumental in helping us raise funds for this event.”
