“Friday, April 15, 2022: At approximately 4pm, a 9-1-1 call reported a fire on the porch of a residence on Wing Road, within sight of the Russell Street fire station.
Three Engines and Ladder One responded. The residents had exited prior to the fire department’s arrival. The fire was quickly knocked down and the house checked thoroughly for extension.
The cause was accidental and there were no injuries.” -Acushnet Fire & EMS Department.
