The August 31 Trust of Braintree has claimed the fifth $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Winfall” instant game.

The trust, represented by trustee Brett Kaufman, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (less tax withholdings). The winning ticket was purchased at Sam’s Food Store, 367 Ashley Blvd. in New Bedford. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for its sale.

Three $1 million prizes are still available in the “$4,000,000 Winfall” $10 instant game.
