28-year old New Bedford man arrested after shots fired on Clark Street

New Bedford Police Department Gang Unit Detectives arrested 28-year old Alexander Dwin Pizarro of 36 Myrtle St., Apt. 2. and charged with carrying a loaded firearm, unattended firearm and ammunition, carrying without a license, and several other firearms-related charges. The arrest was made in relation to shots fired on April 19 in the area of 118 Clark Street.

Per the NBPD, the investigation is ongoing with more arrests expected. Detective Brian Rei is the lead investigator for this case. Arresting officers were Detective Bruce Szyndlar and Detective Samuel Algarin.
