Friday, July 6th

Middleboro 4th of July Celebration (2:00pm-11:00pm)
Carnival rides, food and games. Fireworks at 10 p.m. Proceeds benefit the fireworks and the town’s summer recreational activities. Pierce Playground, 26 Jackson St., Middleboro.

City of New Bedford Summer Sound Series: Front and Center (Top 40, R&B, Pop) [POSTPONED] (6:00pm-8:00pm)
The Summer Sound Series will feature live musical entertainment on Pier 3 in Downtown New Bedford’s Seaport Cultural District. Residents and visitors will dance to live music, enjoy beverages available for purchase, and relax along New Bedford’s beautiful working waterfront. Free parking and shuttle service to City Pier 3 is available at Whale’s Tooth Parking Lot. Additional parking is available at Elm Street Garage within walking distance of City Pier 3. The public is invited to bring their chairs and enjoy front row seating to performances.

Cape Harmony A Cappella Concert (Falmouth) (7:30pm-8:30pm)
Cape Harmony is comprised of 10 talented young women from all over the nation who come to Cape Cod during the summer to make music for its residents and visitors. Founded in 2006, Cape Harmony has become a dynamic group with a unique sound and superb quality. Cape Harmony has been featured on radio stations and on television, as well as in numerous newspapers. Now in its 13th year, Cape Harmony continues to bring their refreshing and high quality music to audiences of all ages. First Congregational Church of Falmouth, 68 Main St., Falmouth.
