The cooler weather brings some amazing events to the city of New Bedford. This past weekend the city hosted the New Bedford Oktoberfest and the New Bedford Chowder Festival. On December 14th, 2014, thousands of Santas will converge downtown for the New Bedford Santa 5K Fun Run.

Three New Bedford non-profit organizations stand to benefit from this year’s run: Gifts to Give, The New Bedford Cultural Council and the YMCA. These charities gain $2 each when the total registration number hits 1,500. The goal this year is for 4,000 Santas to run through the streets of New Bedford. To achieve this goal the organizers need sponsors. Here are the sponsor levels and the benefits for each:
