The New Bedford temporary emergency shelter on 634 Purchase Street in downtown New Bedford will be open Wednesday, March 4th and Thursday, March 5th at 6PM. The shelter needs donations of sandwich meats, cheese, casseroles, soups, pudding or jello cups, and other food items and toiletries (toothpaste, tooth brushes, small bars of soap, etc.)
