Freetown Firefighters respond to tractor-trailer rollover crash on Innovation Way

On Saturday, the Freetown Fire and Police Departments responded to an active Tractor-Trailer Unit rollover on Innovation way, between South Main Street and the Neon Marketplace. No injuries reported.

For several hours the road was closed as Freetown Police, Freetown Fire, and the Massachusetts DOT Highway Division worked alongside Big Wheel’s Recovery for the cleanup and vehicle recovery operation. Car 1, Engine 3 and Rescue 3 remained on scene for approximately 4 hours while the incident was ongoing.

Big Wheel Recovery did their usual outstanding work which minimized leaks by pumping the fuel off. The load needed to be completely removed due to weight concerns and lifting it loaded on the bridge.
